Learn To Do Everything Lightly

It’s already the mid of September 2020 as we sail through these difficult times and India inches closer to 100,000 daily Covid-19 case mark.

The two things that recently have caught my attention are Co-working spaces and CrossFit. It’s a paradox, that during these pandemic times where isolation is the best way to stay out of trouble, things which involve communities enchant you. Humans are social animals, and the Covid world is no exception.
I believe they should call it physical distancing instead of social distancing.

The idea is to pamper yourself and take it easy until the vaccine comes. Reminds me of the poetry from Aldous Huxley's Island:

Learn To Do Everything Lightly

It’s dark because you are trying too hard.
Lightly child, lightly. Learn to do everything lightly.
Yes, feel lightly even though you’re feeling deeply.
Just lightly let things happen and lightly cope with them.

I was so preposterously serious in those days, such a humourless little prig.
Lightly, lightly — it’s the best advice ever given me.
When it comes to dying even. Nothing ponderous, or portentous, or emphatic.
No rhetoric, no tremolos, no self-conscious persona putting on its celebrated imitation of Christ or
